Oh wow
I just posted something and realized it had been almost a year (to the day!) since I last wrote on the hat blog. Let me update you: I have worn my hat quite a bit, and it has gotten dirtier and dirtier. Once in a while someone who knows about the hat contest will say “your hat is getting pretty dirty!”
I’m pretty sure they know about the contest.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint. (hat marathon and hat sprint)
I realize that I have not posted here in a long time. But in the grand nine year scheme of things, this isn’t so bad. But what is most distressing is my lack of hat photos and even worse, hat wearing. I think Dave wears his hat a lot. Well, this is a promise to all you loyal nine year white hat project readers that i am going to wear my white hat a lot more and photograph me in the white hat. Deal?
Deal!
New Jacket to go with hat
This white jacket had been hanging by the bathrooms forever and today I put it on and it goes with the hat. Maybe I will wear it when I wear the hat now, and see what happens to it also? What if somebody did a 9 year white jacket contest?
I probably won’t wear the jacket if it’s hot out though, even if I am wearing the hat.
Mike’s coming to town
I have been wearing my hat a bunch lately, but some of the time I have been wearing it has been in the rain, on my bike. I’m worried that some of the dirt may have rinsed off it from the rain.
I went to California and saw Illick’s hat
Here is a picture of my hat
I wore my hat to work today
nice day
If he does, and he brings his hat, I bet his hat is going to get filthy.
2010 has been a slow year for hatting so far
I don’t think i’ve worn my hat once so far this year! But I will.
Last night
Last night Kelly was waiting for me in her car and I was rushing over to it, and when I ducked under a tree branch I either didn’t duck far enough or didn’t have my hat pulled down far enough, because the tree branch knocked my hat off onto the sidewalk. I imagine this must have made it a little dirtier but it was a pretty minor change. It didn’t fall into a gross puddle or anything, just onto the sidewalk. There were some wet leaves.
